This green teardrop Murano Glass (style) set, is unusual in that the green backing is quite opaque and has made it take on a kind of milky appearance. There are shimmering gold flakes behind the beautiful green flower, with its yellow edged red centre.

Each set differs slightly from the others, because, being handmade, (not by me, I might add) no two are exactly alike, sometimes a slight difference in the way the pattern came out, and their sizes vary a little too.  They are all catalogued and listed seperately. So you will always get the set that is in the picture.

This set comprises of a pendant measuring approx. 5.1cm/2" long and 2.6cm/1" at its widest part. And a set of matching earrings, the 4measurement of the actual glass piece is approx.  3.5cm/1.4" and 1.8cm/0.7"at its widest part.

The earrings are hung on a pair of my handmade earwires, which have little rubber tubes on them to stop any accidental loss (just like a butterfly on a stud), but they can be swapped to shop bought studs if you would prefer them to be, (no extra cost incurred) please just message me and I will be happy to do it.

The pendants can be hung on either an organza ribbon or a triple metallic cord, both finished with one of my handmade Sterling Silver hooks, and a Sterling Silver extention chain featuring a matching Swarovski crystal.  Just pick whether you would like a ribbon or the cords using the options listed.  The price is for one or the other not both.

Pictures of all the colours available, are listed in this collection, in two listings, one for the ribbon choices and the other for the cords - as the site would not allow me to add that many pictures to each items listing!

So please check out those colour listings and then chose from the menu on here, decide on the length you would like,  -  and I will make them to order.  I will be as accurate as possible on the length.  This will obviously cause a minimal delay to the postage of the order.

There is a third option, which does include an extra cost, and that is you can have a Sterling Silver Chain, please message me for the price.

These sets are presented wrapped in lilac tissue paper and placed in a pretty organza drawstring bag.

  • As I purchased my items from a designer in the USA I felt it only right to add the word (Style) so as to not mislead anyone, by allowing them to think I had purchased them in Italy.  Please see the history of Murano Glass section below.

All the items in the collection are GLASS and are therefore more delicate than 'normal' jewellery, extra care should be taken in their handling to make sure nothing breaks. Refunds will only be given, for breakages during transport.  If something should happen in transit (I will ensure they are well protected) please send photographs of the item with all its original packaging.

For your information this is the history of Murano Glass.

    Murano Glass

Murano glass is glass made on the Venetian island of Murano, which has specialized in fancy glasswares for centuries. Murano’s glassmakers led Europe for centuries, developing or refining many technologies including crystalline glass, enamelled glass, glass with threads of gold, multicoloured glass, milk glass, and imitation gemstones made of glass. Today, the artisans of Murano are still employing these centuries-old techniques, crafting everything from contemporary art glass and glass figurines to Murano glass chandeliers and wine stoppers, as well as tourist souvenirs. Today, Murano is home to a vast number of factories and a few individual artists' studios making all manner of glass objects from mass marketed stemware to original sculpture. The Museo del Vetro in the Palazzo Giustinian houses displays on the history of glassmaking as well as glass samples ranging from Egyptian times through the present day. Almost anywhere you go in Italy you can find Murano glass, especially in Venice.
